I am a volunteer at the Tijuana Estuary and found out about and took the water quality training that Coast Keepers offers as a result of my work at the estuary. Had a great time and wonderful learning experience with the group that put on the training.

I divide my time between my home in Hesperia and my SO's condo in San Diego. At home I garden in my backyard wildlife habitat (see NWF for information of certifying your space) and getting outdoors to appreciate the sun and sand at an elevation. When here in San Diego, I spend time volunteering or taking advantage of the many programs (TRNERR, Surfrider-Ocean Friendly Garden, and SDMA to name a few) available here in the city.
